find your worth, find your way.
This is the start of a rebellious road back to you. The bad news, there’s no perfect roadmap. The good news, you can get to know the one person who can navigate next…you.
This is just me writing the book I wanted to read. I was looking for freedom; I was out to find me. I didn’t know how to survive the affair, divorce, career, new town, and single-mom life. I wanted someone to tell me all I was in for and up against. I wanted to hear her stories, how she started over: the ones that make you grieve all over again because you’ve felt the same heartbreak, the ones that make you feel like it’s not just you, the ones that make you cheer because we do get back up every time, and the ones that make you believe in love as impossible as that may sound. I wanted to know how you try again. How do you really figure out why you’re in this place and the part you played? How do you discover who you are without them? How do you decide which parts of that life to bring and what gets left behind? How do you trust yourself again? How do you hear you?

Use my stories to dig up yours, I’m really just your Rebel Reminder. I’ll be the friend that doesn’t mind telling you all her junk, so you feel a little less alone in yours. We don’t predict our life falling apart; we’re too busy trying to keep it all together. No matter how much is acquired, accomplished or achieved we keep taking last place in our own story. It’s easy now to see how we settle for lives too small for our shiny souls.
Most people describe resilience as advancing despite adversity but starting a new life doesn’t always feel like gaining ground. The goal isn’t to just keep going or get over it. Rebellious Resilience is being more of yourself in the process not less; it’s authenticity despite adversity.
There are a few choices you’ll have to make along the way:
